That’s exactly why I created Conscious Kids, an 8-week online coaching program for sensitive souls (recommended ages 7–11).

Through short, playful lessons, your child will learn how to calm their nervous system, manage emotions, and set healthy boundaries.

Hi I’m Kimberly,

A yoga educator of 14 years, founder of Sunshine Yoga School, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Conscious Parenting Coach, and highly sensitive mama with two sensitive kids of my own (10 years apart).

Through my extensive experience teaching yoga training programs and working with kids & families, I created this unique Mindfulness Training program to plant seeds of peace, connection, and emotional wisdom in the next generation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age is this program best for?

This program is designed for children ages 7 - 11, but slightly younger or older children can also benefitβ€”especially if they’re emotionally aware or open to learning mindfulness tools. You know your child best.

What if my child has a hard time focusing?

That’s exactly what this program helps with. The practices are short, sensory, and engaging, built for kids with big feelings, sensitive nervous systems, or busy minds. I’ve included breath-work, movement, and visual tools to meet them where they are.

Can my child do this program on their own?

Yes! The content is kid-friendly and designed for independent learning, but we encourage parents to join in when possible and keep track of their progress. Many families enjoy doing the weekly practices togetherβ€”it can deepen connection and model conscious living in a beautiful way. There is a monthly 'Parent Q&A' session where I will address questions or concerns.

How much time does this take each week?

Just 60 min per week. Each week includes 1-2 short videos (5–15 mins) and one simple daily practice to repeat and explore throughout the week plus a 30 min live "Check-In" that is optional. The goal is ease, not overwhelmβ€”small steps with big impact.

Is this religious or spiritual?

The program is non-religious and inclusive. It draws on mindfulness, emotional intelligence, yoga-inspired tools, and respect for the Earth and all beings. You’re welcome to adapt any language to suit your family’s beliefs.

Do I need any special supplies?

Just a few, but don't stress if you don't have them right away. The most important thing is a quiet space to watch videos and a device to watch them on. The following items will be helpful to support their journey: a journal, coloring supplies, a yoga mat, a candle, and a few meaningful objects for your child to create a 'sacred space'. I’ll provide simple guides and suggestions along the way.

Is this a Live program or self-paced?

It's a hybrid- a self-paced program with pre-recorded videos, so you can start whenever you're ready and go at your own rhythm AND optional weekly Live Zoom check-ins where your child can connect to the other kids, ask questions, and get live support from me.
